Passive static discharge brushes use soft, durable 35-micron controlled-resistivity fibre filaments to reduce electrostatic charge on moving surfaces without scratching the substrate.
Housed in a powder-coated extruded aluminium section, the non-powered brushes are suited to applications with high web charge and environments where powered equipment is unsuitable, including explosive environments. Position the brush close to or just touching the charged web to conduct charge to ground. Brushes can also be combined with active static eliminating bars for conveyor-belt applications.
